WHITAKER, HELEN IRENE (BLOOM), 93, of Louisville, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 23, 2010.
She was born August 16, 1917 and was blessed with a long, productive life.
She was preceded in death by "Dad," Joseph H. Whitaker Sr.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Allen of Redding, CA; a daughter, Judy Floyd; sons, Joseph H. Jr., James C., Ed A., Tim and Jon Whitaker; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Celebrate with us at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, on Monday at 2 p.m. Visiting will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and Monday after 1 p.m.
