Helen Zinsmeister ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book ZINSMEISTER, HELEN, 81, passed away Sunday, May 24 2009 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit She owned and operated Helen Zinsmeister Income Tax Service for 34 years. Helen belonged to American Legion Post 220 and was a member of Mary Queen of Peace (St. Matthias). Helen is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Wade G. Zinsmeister Sr.; three sons, Wade G. Jr., Russ (Eva) and Chris Zinsmeister; a daughter, Elizabeth "Sissy" (Benny) McKinney; grandchildren, Mathew, Dylan, B.J., Jessica, Nick, Katelyn and Courtney; and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service celebrating Helen's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Family and friends may visit 9-11 a.m. prior to the service Saturday. The family ask donations be made to the Inpatient Unit Care Center of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Dr., 40205, in lieu of flowers.
