Henry Cornelius

December 18, 1921 — August 15, 2007

CORNELIUS, HENRY D., 85, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at his residence. He was a retired millwright with Ford Kentucky Truck Plant, an Air Force World War II veteran and a member of Lyndon Baptist Church. He was a volunteer for seven years at Baptist Hospital East, past master of Lyndon Lodge #960 and a member of the Lyndon Volunteer Fire Dept. He is preceded by his wife, Agnes Mae Cornelius. He is survived by his sons, Doug Cornelius (Carol), Tom Cornelius and Richard L. Cornelius (Norma); daughters, Barbara A. Baker (Danny) and Vickie Staley (Charlie); grandchildren, Larry Cornelius, Meshia Purtilar, Stephanie Ochsner, Andrea Fante and Tiffany Riordan; and seven great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Highlands Family- Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Highlands.
