Bratcher, Herbert,of Fairdale, KY, was taken by the angels to his Heavenly Father on February 24, 2015. He was a member of New Cut Road Baptist Church. Herbert was born in Hart County, KY, on August 10, 1929. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Bratcher; daughters, Kaye Montgomery and Diana Booker; and families. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral service Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
