Rhodes Sr., Herman Joseph View/Sign Guest Book RHODES, HERMAN JOSEPH SR., 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008. He was a retired brakeman for Norfolk Southern Railroad and a US Coast Guard veteran. Survivors include his son, Joe Rhodes; daughter, Marnita (Martie) Mack; four grandchildren; brothers, Joe, Ken, George and Doug Rhodes; and sister, Mary Leitchfield. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, 7718 Columbine Dr., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
