Hershel Logsdon

Hershel Wayne Logsdon, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 7, 2022.  He was born January 7, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Hershel and Peggy (Puckett) Logsdon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Logsdon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife that he adored, Debra Logsdon; his sons, Richard Logsdon (Charese) and Thomas Works; his daughters, Angela Rutledge, Christina Logsdon and Michele Logsdon; his siblings, Thomas Logsdon (Anita), Charles Logsdon (Trish), and Robin French (Bernie); along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Hershel liked to tease, but he loved hard and enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved #3, Dale Earnhardt, and liked to spend time fishing.

He loved his wife fiercely and they were Yahtzee partners, always making sure to play a game every single evening.  Hershel was fortunate to have found his best friend and soulmate in Debra and they enjoyed many happy years together.

There will be a Celebration of Hershel’s Life on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 2625 Martin Avenue Louisville, Kentucky 40216, from 3PM until 7PM.  Please come and share memories, stories and have a meal with his cherished family.
