FIELDS, HORACE "DALE," 76, passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
A native of Upton, KY, he was a retired Air Force veteran who served in both Korea and Vietnam. He retired from Waste Management of KY and also drove for Miller Transportation for 10 years. He was a member of VFW Post #2434 in Biloxi, MS.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Murray and is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy A. (Hartel) Fields; his daughter, Belinda Casper (Sam); son, Dale Wayne Fields; six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
His service will be noon Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
