Howard Cox

COX, HOWARD LEE, 82, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Edgemont Health & Rehab, Cynthiana, KY. He was a retired truck driver for the old Spector - Red Ball Trucking Co., a former maintenance man for Incarnation Catholic Church, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, A. Rae Cox; a son, Kevin Cox; a daughter, Karen Fox; brothers, Hillard, Jackie, and Jimmie Cox; sisters, Ethel Smith, Christine Cox, and Ruby Araujo; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
