Howard Mitchell

Mitchell, Howard (Mitch) View/Sign Guest Book ELIZABETH MITCHELL, HOWARD (MITCH), 70, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008. He was a retired maintenance electrician for the Jefferson County Board of Education. He was a member of Suburban Masonic Lodge #740 F. & A.M., a member of O.E.S. Southern Star Chapter #154, Sons of American Legion, Hornickel Post #379 and a member of V.F.W. Post #3281 Men's Auxiliary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Helen Mitchell. He is survived by a daughter, Anita Chumley (Kerry); two sons, Dwayne Mitchell (Shelia) and Daniel Mitchell (Janette); one sister, Deborah Rock (Rockey); eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St., with burial in the Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday.
