RICHESON, HUBERT OWEN, 86, of south Louisville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

He was a native of Ohio county, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, retired accountant from the Kentuckiana Pulmonary Associates, an Elder at Epworth United Methodist Church where he has been a member since 1952, also the Methodist Mens Club, teacher of the Ninety and Nine Sunday school class and a RABID U of L Fan, also he always wanted to be a member of the Procrastinator's club but just never got a round to joining it.

Mr. Richeson was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth D. Richeson; and a granddaughter, Beth Covington.

Survivors include his beloved wife of over 68 years, the former Bettye Leach; sons, David (Debra) and Michael Richeson; daughters, Bettye Jo (Steven) Covington, Martha J. (David) Dickerson and Angela Shepherd; a sister, Madeline Hibbs; also by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation from 3-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Expressions of sympathy may go to his church, the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
