She was retired from Reynolds Metals and was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Essie James Beeler and her daughter, Janice Kay Garland.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Stahl (Steve); grandchildren, Sheila Schepers, James Garland and Jason Howard; four great grandchildren; brother, Gordon Skaggs and sister, Bernice Miller.
Her service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
