Imogene Sherrell

SHERRELL, IMOGENE (SMITH), 85, of Shelbyville, KY, formerly of LaGrange, KY, passed away Saturday September 5, 2009.
She was a member of the Westport Baptist Church and also attended Shelby Christian Church; she retired from Oldham County High School as a cafeteria worker.
She is preceded in death by her husband Everett Sherrell.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Johnson (David) and Pam Joyce (Doug), son, Barry Sherrell (Mimi); stepson, Len Sherrell and Lee Sherrell (Sheila); sisters, Mary Irene Barnes, Ruth Hicks, Doris Tingle, Betty Rittenberry, Patsy Lentz, Janet Straughn and Judy Winters; brothers, Fred, Tom and Stephen "Pete" Smith; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Service will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St. in LaGrange, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
