Iona Duvall

Duvall, Iona Rudelle View/Sign Guest Book DUVALL, IONA RUDELLE, 92, passed away on Friday January 25, 2008. Born December 18, 1915, Upton KY, the daughter of Len and Edith Avery, Iona worked as a elementary teacher in the Jefferson School District, member of the Woodland Baptist Church and past member for 60 years at Shively Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Duvall; and a grandson, Keith Land Martin. Survived by son, David A. Duvall (Clarissa); daughters, Ann Martin (Curt) and Janice Reed (Jim); sister, Willia Heady, brothers, Russell Avery (Frances) and Raymond Avery (Karen); six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. A Special Thank You to the Forum and their Staff, and Hospice of Louisville for the thoughtful care they have given to Iona. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Sunday at the Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Middletown. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
