Ione Martin

Martin, Ione M. (McKinney) View/Sign Guest Book MARTIN, IONE M. (McKINNEY), 83, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008. Born in Christian County, KY, she was the daughter of the late V.H. and Ada McKinney. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She had worked for Brown-Williamson and Woodhaven Nursing Home. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Eunice, Ovil, Lorene, Willie, Virginia and Douglas. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Glendal Martin; her children, Kenneth Martin (Faye), Larry Martin (Peggy), Nancy Wells (Eddie), Ronnie Martin (Cheryl) and Rhonda Martin (David); 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Monday.
