88, of Louisville passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Green Meadows Health Care in Mt. Washington, Ky.
Irene was a native of Upton, Ky. and a member of American Legion Post 220 Ladies Auxilliary. She retired from Phillip Morris Tobacco Co. as an Audio Nurse.
Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Pitcock.
Survivors include her son, John R. Pitcock; daughter, Sheila Nichols; grandchildren, Carrie Foster, Erin Lister and Jacob Pitcock; and great-grandson, Chaz Perez.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Monday, July 28, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday & after 10 a.m. on Monday.
