Iris Rudell (Fulkerson) Jones JONES, IRIS RUDELL (FULKERSON), 86, of Brandenburg, KY, born August 15, 1923, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 following a long illness. She was at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was an Army veteran of WWII.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Naval Chief Herman P. Jones.
She is survived by her children, David (Barbara) of Doe Valley, Gary (Deborah) of Louisville, Susan Wall (David) of North Carolina, Gregory (Evelyn) of Kentucky, Martin (Jean) of Louisiana, Jeffery (Jenny) of Indiana, and Cindy Sherman of Arizona; her sisters, Helen Juanita Mayfer and Peggy Dawson; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
David, Barbara, David, Jr. and Robin all lovingly provided care for her in their home the final years of her life.
Funeral arrangements will be provided by Keenan Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway. with visitation 3 - 8 p.m. Friday and 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday. Service will follow and burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens.
