J.D. Noland

NOLAND, J.D., 30, of Louisville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
He was born April 9, 1982 in Louisville, the son of Jeffrey A. Noland and Jeane M. (Elkins) Noland. He was a 2000 graduate of DeSales High School and a maintenance foreman with Voith Industrial Services, currently at Ford Motor Company, Fern Valley Road Plant. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 862, N.R.A. and was an avid University of Kentucky fan.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman R. Elkins; two cousins, Dennis Kramer and Shalon Titus and his best friend since childhood, Derrick Louis Johnston.
In addition to his parents, J.D. is also survived by his brother, Kyle S. Noland (Carolyn N. Johnson); grandparents, Walter A. Sr. and Wanda C. Noland and Mary A. Elkins; god-mother, Michelle Delcour and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, it was J.D.'s request that memorial gifts be made to DeSales High School.
