He was born January 10, 1927 in Columbus, OH and was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was retired from Gordon Foods as a route salesman and was a member of Kenwood Church of Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Helen Watson Barbour; children, Vickie Dunlap (Wayne), Dan W. Prince (Marty), Callie Barbour and Jackie Bloyd (Philip); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and wonderful friends and neighbors, Tim and Faye Tipton and Helen Eaton.
The funeral will be at noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation is from 1 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
