Basham, Jack V. View/Sign Guest Book BASHAM, JACK V., 75, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his residence. He was a retired car man for the Illinois Central Railroad and a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Helen Basham. He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Lynn Basham Kaelin (Billie Reister) and Sherry R. Basham Langford (Matt P. Wallace); son, Jackie Lee Basham (Debbie); sister, Zora Sanders; grandchildren, little Jackie, Michelle and Shannon Basham, Stephanie, Kaelin and Brittany Ryan; five great-grandchildren; cherished friends, Louise and Herb Whitaker, Davy Coots, Jenny and Joe Carter, Donnie Whobrey and family, Cyndi and Gary Hook and Peggy Dupin. His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, 4205 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Tuesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, from 1-9 p.m. Memorial contributions maybe made to Hosparus of Louisville.
