Jack Head Sr

Jack B.Head Sr., 85, husband of Beatrice Y. Head, passed from this earth on December 10, 2012 to be with his heavenly father. Born in Louisville April 27, 1927 he is the son of the late William C. & Jessie V. Head. He was a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church where he served numerous years as a Deacon. He was a Male H.S. graduate and 60 + year member of the Plumb Masonic Lodge, in addition he formerly owned and operated a NAPA Auto Parts in Shelbyville and after continued his working career with Litton Industries from where he retired. Jack was also a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jack's greatest loves in life were his wife of nearly 69 years, his family, reading the Bible cover to cover and traveling, especially in Europe, Mexico and Hawaii.
Besides his wife survivors include, his son and daughter-in-law, Jack Jr. & Janet Head., Two grandchildren, Jeremy Head (Carrie), Kristyn Bowman (Chris) and three great grandchildren, Lillian & Jacob Head and Jameson Bowman.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Ann Driver, Jane Stayton and L.T. Head.
