NEWMAN, JACKIE LARUE SR., 74, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. He was a native of Bellville, TX, retired foreman for Air Liquide, an Air Force veteran and a member of American Legion Post 148. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; three sons, Jackie L. Newman Jr. (Gladys), Michael D. Newman and James T. Newman (Sandra); two brothers, Clyde E. Newman (Carmel) and Jimmy Newman (Margaret); sister, Nina Simpson; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
