James Bogard

Bogard, James Roland,65, passed away March 25,2015 at the Robley Rex Veterans Hospital. He was a Kosair Shriner and a member of Robinson Masonic Lodge # 266; Navy veteran of Vietnam on the USS Calcaterra Der-390 and a Field Manager for Pitney Bowes and Corporate Mailing Systems and a Baptist by faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, Levenia and James Bogard; sisters, Mary C. Ashby and Deborah F. Lutterman.Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Darlene Ann Bogard; daughter, Scarlet Lynn Hill-French; sister, Shirley Ann Taliaferro (James C. ); brother, Allan D. Bogard (Vicky); two grandchildren, Kayla D. and Jason C. French.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Donations may be made Kosair Charities or Wounded Warriors.
