Share Visit Guest Book James F. Bradley BRADLEY, JAMES F., 87, of Louisville passed peacefully away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at his residence.
He was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from Fort Knox as a Federal Firefighter and also retired from Baptist East Hospital as a security officer.
James was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building things with wood. He was a writer and an artist. James was a loving husband, dedicated father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Bradley.
He leaves to cherish his memory his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Wayne Bradley; daughters, Trudy Singleton and Sherry Kopp; six grandchildren; four great-grand children; and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon Thursday at South Jefferson Christian Church, 6500 Orell Road. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
