James Dale Sr

Dale, James Arthur Sr.,84, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015, with his family by his side. He was a retired truck driver with the Teamsters Local 89. He was a past commander of V.F.W. post #6182, a member of American Legion Post #220, a past vice president and president at St. Denis Catholic Church men's club and volunteer coach for the church's youth sports. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Marie Dale Lane and a brother, Paul Anthony Dale. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Barbara "Bobbie" Dale; sons, James A. Dale, Jr. (Mary), Joseph A. Dale, Sr. (Randy), Michael A. Dale (Betty Jo) and Mark A. Dale (Kay); daughter, Julia Waters; brother, David F. Dale; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. His celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Rd. with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
