DENTON, JAMES D., 64, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010.
He was a retired Jefferson County Police officer, a Vietnam Air Force veteran, a member of the River City FOP, the Suburban Masonic Lodge and Highview Baptist Church.
Mr. Denton was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Spellman Denton; and grandson, Taylor Rose.
He is survived by his sons, Barry (Julie) and William (Karen) Denton; brother, Jerry Denton; and grandchildren, Callie Denton, Caroline and Thomas Rose and Madison Gibson and Karson and Kaiden Cox.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman's, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Tuesday.
