James F. Dillon Share E-mail Visit Guest Book DILLON, JAMES F., 90, of Louisville, passed away September 5, 2009 at University Hospital.
He was a retired foreman for the old Jones-Dabney/Celeanese Co. with over 30 years of service. He was also a member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge # 830 for 50 years.
Mr. Dillon was a World War II Army Veteran , a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Dillon and stepdaughter, Dolores Ann.
Survivors include his sister, Anna Mae Carden; stepson, Eric Howard (Carol); nephew, James Carden (Michelle); great nieces, Alessandra and Arianna; his caregiver, Inez Wolfe; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and loving friends.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 3345 Lexington Road with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady Russman and Sons Funeral Home 1201 E. Oak St., from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.
The family would like expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to the Louisville Firefighters Fund.
