DREES, JAMES EDWARD "ED," 85, passed away on February 4, 2011.
He was a retired employee of International Harvester where he worked for 35 years, a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, formerly St. Clement, where he was a member of the Friendship Club and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Carter Drees; his children, Denise Klinglesmith, Wanda Roseberry, Thomas Drees (Patty), Nancy Drees and John Drees (Patty); grandchildren, Amy Jones, Bryan (Jodee) and Mark Klinglesmith, Chris (Summer) and Jeff Drees, Robin White (Jason), Stephanie, Emily and Sean Drees; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Kasie and Lindsey Klinglesmith, Kyle and Kayla White and Landon Drees His funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter the Apostle, 7724 Columbine Drive, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
