GERALDS, JAMES I., 89, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Jim was a native of Horsecave, KY, a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and worked for Gulf Oil Company for 33 and half years.
Jim was the # 1 fan of all of his grandkids and loved by all that knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marie (Tidwell) Geralds; four children, Debbie French (Bob), Steve Miles (Cindy), Joni Penland (Paul) and Janice Payne (David); 11 grandchildren; Kelly, Brian, Emily, Dustin, Jimmy, Allie, Justin, Jason, Erin, Bryan and Matthew "Little Buddy"; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be noon on Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday.
