James Gilbert Sr

Gilbert, James William Sr., 83, of Tennessee, passed away February 28, 2015, surrounded by family. He retired from Brown-Williamson Tobacco Co. after 26 years.James is preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Gilbert.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia (Pack) Gilbert; his children, Donna Mungo (Bruce), Debbie Downey (Michael), Kenney Gilbert (Sunny), Michael (Marilee), and Danny Stamper (Michelle); two grandchildren, Christina Bovinet (Reggea), and Chad Mungo; three great-grandchildren whom he loved so dearly, William and Wesley Mungo, and Wade Bovinet. Also surviving are two brothers, Edward and Tommy and sister, Linda Fleming.Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11a.m. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
