71, passed away on September 18, 2014.
Jim was a Navy Veteran and former sports writer for various newspaper across Kentucky and for Cat's Pause Publication.
Jim leaves behind a son, Stephen Griesch of Lexington, KY; sisters, Linda Taylor (Ben) of Shelbyville, KY and Sarah Sells (Steve) of Elgin, OK; nieces, Amy Johnston of Cary, NC and her family and Cristen Young of Harrodsburg, KY and her family.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 12 noon Monday until time of service.
Expressions of sympathy may go to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 1030 Goss Ave. Louisville, KY 40217.
