HALL, JAMES ALLEN, 73, of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 13, 2011.
He was born April 14, 1938 in Hart County, KY. He was a member of Valley View Church. He was a builder and property developer in Louisville for over 45 years. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother and friend. He touched the lives of so many and will forever be loved and missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hall; mother, Flora Lee Hall; stepfather, Wilbur Hall; brother, Bill Hall; sister, Daisy; stepbrother, Glen Hall; and the mother of his children, Alice Hall.
He leaves behind three children, Sheila Friess (Danny), Rick A. Hall, Scott A. Hall (Summer); seven grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Taylor, Matthew, Sophie, Sadie and Allie Grace; stepsiblings, Donny Priddy, Mike Hall, Susie Martin and Brenda Cottrell.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday.
