Hallahan Jr., James P. View/Sign Guest Book HALLAHAN, JAMES P. JR., 72, of Louisville, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 8, 2008, with his family by his side. Jim was Catholic by choice and attended Flaget High School. He was a Marine Corps veteran and was retired from Home Supply Lumber Co., after 37 years. He enjoyed volunteering his time for the booster clubs and athletic departments of Western High School and Fairdale High School, long after his children had graduated. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, the former Martha R. Sinclair; parents, James P. and Mary C.; and brother, Shane T. Hallahan. He is survived by his son, James P. Hallahan III (Fran); daughter, Melissa A. Rigdon (Casey); five grandchildren, Austin and Trevor Hallahan, Sadie, Sydney and Savannah Rigdon; brothers, Danny (Deana), Timmy (Kathe) and Michael (Celia) Hallahan; sisters, Susan Hallahan, Bonnie Duggins (Shelby), Patsy Ashley (Buck), Sharon Schlatter (Joe) and Cathy Greer (Gary); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Suburban Hospital, for their wonderful care and kind words. His funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, 1-8 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday.
