James Floyd Horn Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HORN, JAMES FLOYD, 88, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Altenheim.
He was a native of Cloverdale, IN., a retired night supervisor in the foundry at International Harvester where he had 39 years of service, a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church and International Harvester Retirees Club. He was also a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, and the mother of his children, Annie Sackett Horn; his second wife, Helen Gibson Horn; and a son, Gary Horn.
Survivors include his children, Diane Beckstead, Bill Horn (Diane) and Jimmy Horn (Monica); stepchildren, Sheila Trent (Richie), Terry Cranmer (Mona) and Charles Cranmer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Bardstown Road. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
