JENNETTE, J. W., 91, passed away on July 8, 2011.
He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal, and a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Benton.
Survivors include his devoted wife of over 71 years, Effie Nell (Hinton) Jennette; his children, Jo Nell Smith (Leon) and Larry Jennette (Verna); grandchildren, Robin Smith, Jenny Lundy (David), Tim Jennette, Lorri Chick (Sammy), Kara Whitehouse (Jason) and Kassie Sanders (Will); five great-grandchildren; his brother, William Jennette; and sister, Henrietta VanShuren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3 - 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday.
