Leslie, James R. "Jim",86, passed away on September 8, 2015. He was a lifetime member of Chapel Park Baptist Church. Jim retired from Inland Container Corp.He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Leslie; son, Robert William Leslie and sister, Eunice Price.Jim is survived by his sons, Jay Leslie and Michael Leslie; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Rayburn Short; sister, Annabelle Short and daughter-in-law, Diane Leslie. Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2015, from 9-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Jim's life beginning at 11a.m. Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway.Expressions of sympathy can be made to Chapel Park Baptist Church. www.newcomerkentuckiana.com
