Marking, James "Harold" Sr.,
92, passed away Saturday , August 9, 2014 at his residence with his family by his side.
He was a retired pipefitter for U.S. Naval Ordnance and a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of St. Peter the Apostle's Friendship Club and St. Rita's Lively Hearts.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Ann Marking and his granddaughter Lorie Ann Marking.
He is survived by his sons, James H. Jr. (Frankie), Steven M. (Rebecca), David A., and Donald J. (Becky) Marking; 6 Grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
His funeral Mass will be Tuesday 11 a.m. August 12, 2014 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday from 2- 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Ratterman Grand Chapels 4832 Cane Run Road.
