Milner, James R. "Jim" View/Sign Guest Book MILNER, JAMES R. "JIM", 72, of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2007. He retired from Alcan Aluminum, a US Army veteran, a member Shively Masonic Lodge # 951, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite at Valley of Louisville, American Legion Post #220, and Marydale Men's Club. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats and Atlanta Braves fan. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Woodrow, and Randall Milner; and sister, Pauline Durbin. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Doris Thomas Milner; daughters, Carmen Foster (Kevin), Sandy Harshfield (Gary), Karen Milner (Mike Milby) and Kelly French (Rick); grandchildren, Christopher (Kim), Brandee, Kari, Kristen, Joey, Shelby, Ryan and Jake; great- grandson, Matthew; several nieces and nephews; dearest friend, Haskell Red Lindsay; and many other friends. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Wednesday.
