James Morrison

Morrison, James D. "Jim",90, passed away on July 1, 2015.He was a retired employee of American Standard, a member of the Falls City Model "A" Ford Club, a Navy veteran of WW II, and a charter member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.James was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Velma (St. Clair) Morrison, two brothers and a sister.Survivors include his children, Timothy Morrison (Carla), Catherine Schaefer (Bob) and Daniel Morrison (Terri), seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and his brother, Joe Morrison (Toni).Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.Visitation will be 3 - 8 p.m. Sunday.Memorial gifts may be made to Home of the Innocents or his church
