PEACE, JAMES L., 89, of Elizabethtown, KY, formerly of Louisville, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011.
Born September 25, 1921 to James and Alma Peace. He was an World War II Marine veteran and of Baptist faith.
James is survived by wife, Mary Jo Macy Peace; two sons, Tom and Joe; sister Trudy Jones; and two grandchildren.
A service celebrating the life of James will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made in Mr. Peace's memory to Hosparus, 105 Diecks Dr., Elizabethtown, KY, 42701.
