James Peyton

Peyton, James Claude,91, passed away Sunday,April 12, 2015.He was a native of Baulman Holler, KY, a retired watch maker for Merkley Kendrick Jewelers, a Kentucky Colonel, an official assistant commissioner for the Ky. State Athletics Association, sang in a Gospel Quartet and member of the Ohio Valley Rescue Squad and Patesville Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his sister, Laila Banister; brother, Rex Peyton; and grandson, Adrian Peyton.Survivors include his wife, Patricia Barnett Peyton; sons, James Jr. and Bruce (Jan) Peyton; daughters, Jane Peyton, Linda Risk and Delores Howell (Ellis); sister, Maxine Sanders; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday
