GREENVILLE - Propes, James Rondal Sr., passed away.
He was born on March 23, 1926 in Marrowbone, Cumberland County, KY, the son of Gertie Breeding and William Propes.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Poynter Propes; and two sons, James Rondal Jr. (Nancy) of Greenville, KY and Thomas Russell (Cindi) of Mooresville, NC.
Funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2012 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Dr. Ray England officiating and Bro. Carlton Bell assisting. Visitation will be 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. EST at the cemetery.
The family requests that donations be made in c/o Hooked of Life or Second Baptist Church.
