Redden, Dr. James Erskine View/Sign Guest Book REDDEN, DR. JAMES ERSKINE, 80, of Louisville, died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Audubon Hospital. He was a retired college professor at Alcorn State University and Southern Illinois University. He was a member of Highland Community Church and Lions Club. He is preceded in death by his son, Barry Howard Redden; and brother, Carlton Redden. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Ann Vogel (Dr. Robert) and Virginia Faye Davis (James); sons, David Edward Redden (Carla), Nathan Albert Redden (Roxanna) and Alexander Clyde Redden (Mary); sisters, Iris Mae Miller and Joyce Ann Addams; brother, Leroy Redden; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be noon Monday, January 5, 2009 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
