He was a retired auto salesman for V.V. Cooke and a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Leonard.
He is survived by his son, James Russell Saddler; and one grandchild.
His funeral is noon Monday, December 28, 2009 at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy (at Rockford Lane), with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday.
