James Saling

SALING, JAMES F. "HERB," 74, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 17, 2008. He was born February 10, 1934, in Edmondson County to the late Claude W. and Millie Sensabaugh Saling. Mr. Saling retired from Ford Motor Company and was a U.S. Army veteran with the 101 Airborne Division, Progress Lodge #932 F. & A.M. and was Baptist by faith. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Imogene Saling; children, Patricia Neitzel (Jeff), Barbara Duncan (Mike), Linda Blair (Phillip), Laura Bailey (Steve), Jamie Saling (Jade), Lisa Johnson (Danny), Theresa Patrick (Charlie), James Berry (Barbara), Paul Berry (Paula), Wayne Berry (Bianca) and Darrell Berry; brother, Orville Saling (Libby); sister, Ruth Fortner; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks, where friends may pay their respects 1-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at Schoppenhorst, burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens-East.
