SIPES, JAMES BERNARD "J.B.," 48, of Pottsville, PA., formerly of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Pottsville.
He was a wonderful father full of patience and creativity. He loved music, played the guitar and loved to sing songs from Frank Sinatra to Jimmy Buffett. He loved animals and all of God's creation.
He is survived by his daughter, Paige Elizabeth Sipes; son, Benjamin Francis Sipes; parents, Frank and Pat Sipes; sisters, Vickie Sliter (Duane), and Kim Sipes; brothers, Kevin Sipes (Cindy) and Gary Sipes (Jeannie); niece and nephews, Jacob and Dee Dee Sliter, and Kyle and Jared Sipes.
His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
Expressions of sympathy made be made to the family c/o of the funeral home.
