James Edward Smiley Share E-mail Visit Guest Book SMILEY, JAMES EDWARD, 56, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a retired foundry worker for American Standard and a Vietnam Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Myers) Smiley; son Joe Smiley (Crystal); daughter, Tiffany Johnson (David); brothers, Charles, Tommy and Bruce; sisters, Anna, Donna, Vicky, Sheila and Patty; and grandchildren, Briana, Jacob, Destiny and Elijah.
He was a loving husband, dad and papal.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday.
