James Stice

STICE, JAMES OWEN, 92, of Louisville, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at Elmcrost Senior Living. James was a native of Edmonson County, KY a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of River Port Community Church, American Legion Post #200. He had retired from Reynolds Metal Co. as a machinist. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Paula; and wife, Ruthie. Survivors include his two daughters, Beverly Lewis (Roger) and Pamela McQuillen; two brothers, Paul Stice and Virgil Stice; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday.
