STONER, JAMES "BUD," 78, of Shepherdsville, was born September 5, 1934 to the late James Lonnie and Ruby Boyd Stoner in Limestone County, AL and returned to his Heavenly Father, September 12, 2012.
Mr. Stoner was a member of North Bullitt Christian Church, a Kentucky Colonel and a retired terminal manager for OK Trucking Company.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; sisters, Jeanne Shofner and Patsy Barstow; brother, Billy Joe Stoner.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of sixty years, Vesta Montgomery Stoner; daughter, Rebecca Johnson (Bob); sons, Doug Stoner (Linda), Mark Stoner (Gina) and David Stoner (Laura); sister, Betty Ann Helm (Ken); brother, Mike Stoner; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Simon, Logan and Margi; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects from 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at Schoppenhorst.
