RICHARDSON, JAMES T., 87, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013.

He was a retired truck driver for Martin-Brower and Ditch Witch, and had worked as an equipment operator on various pipelines. He was a member of Teamsters Local 89, Suburban Masonic Lodge 740, and was a Navy veteran of World War II, during which time he served on the LST-547. He was often seen hanging out with the McDonalds crew, his favorite pastime. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Richardson; son, Robbie Richardson; nephew, Robert Wallace, and son-in-law Mark Smith.

He is survived by a daughter, Cindi Smith; a nephew, Greg Wallace (Connie); brother, Nelson Richardson; sister, Leona Sanders; grandchildren, Brandon Wallace, Kasi Smith, Kala Smith, Jessica Smith, and Brooke Wallace; and great-grandchildren, Quinton Wallace and Brayden Wallace.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorial gifts may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
