VINSON, JAMES RAYMOND "J.R.," 80, of Louisville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 30, 2011.
J.R. was a former jockey, avid golfer, and important member of the Vinson Family. He was a loving father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend.
Survivors include his three sons, Scott Overmyer, James Lee Vinson, Jeffery Vinson; daughter, Cindy Ragusa (Anthony); grandsons include, Jason and Joe Overmyer, Ryan Ragusa; three great-granddaughters; sisters, Mildred Oakes and Sarah Dunbar; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for J.R. will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Sunday. Please join J.R.'s family and friends for this celebration.
